Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has donated $7.7m to victims of Nepal earthquake.
According to French sports magazine So Foot the 30-year-old donated the heft sum to charitable organisation Save the Children, to help victims of the earthquake.
The forward also took to his Facebook to plead to his followers to also donate to the children's charity.
This is not the first time the current Balon d'Or holder is reaching out to victims and survivors of natural disaster.
In
2004 he flew to the aid of Indonesian tsunami victims after he saw
footage of a young man wearing a Portugal shirt with his name on the
back.
